At Penterra Spa (“pente” meaning five, and “terra” meaning earth) our mission is to engage the five senses using natural elements from our rich earth. All therapies focus on five essential areas:
Most of our services require only that you come relaxed. However, for a few treatments, just a little advance planning will ensure you achieve maximum benefits.
When to arrive: To enjoy the full benefits, we encourage you to arrive 20 minutes prior to your appointment. This will allow time for one of our spa specialists to give you a brief orientation, and for you to experience the soothing ambience of our sanctuary room.
While you are here: For your comfort, private changing room, showers and lockers are available. You’ll be provided with a robe, spa slip-ons and towels. Complimentary body care and hair amenities help ease your transition back to the outside world.
Stay hydrated: Drinking plenty of water is vital to your well-being and staying adequately hydrated enhances the benefits of your therapies. Please help yourself to water, and if you’d like a drink at any time during your treatment, don’t hesitate to mention it to your therapist.
For your comfort: Although we do our best to anticipate your needs, we understand a spa is a very individual experience. Please let one of our spa specialists know if there is anything we can do to enhance your experience – an extra towel, changing sound or lighting levels, getting you additional water, etc. We truly appreciate your feedback; it enables us to provide you with a spa experience like no other.
